AYSO Parents

Parents play a special role in the success of AYSO.  AYSO volunteers rely on the assistance and support of parents to make our program a success for the children.

SUPPORT OUR KIDS

• Always remember, "It's for the kids."  Parents are the role models; be positive, supportive, and involved.

• AYSO is a positive experience.  Our kids are learning sports and team skills, but most importantly they are having fun. 

• Winning a game is not the goal.  Surveys show that most children would rather play for a losing team instead of sitting on the sidelines for a winning team.   In AYSO, every child is a winner.

• The goals that we set for the kids are to have fun, learn to play as a team, and learn soccer skills.

• Be supportive of coaches and referees.  They are volunteers who are there because they care about your kids and want to spent their free time doing their part for your kids.

• If you are interested in volunteering as a coach or referee, please contact your school coordinator or a board member.
